Gotlandsflyg and the environment

There is an ongoing debate about the environment and the sustainable development that is highly affecting the air and transportation industries. Perhaps the easiest thing for us to do would have been to shake our heads and say something like, "We are only a small airline and do not release a lot of emissions." Even if there is some truth in that, it would have been the dumbest thing to say. Therefore, we have decided to do what we can. At the same time, it is important that we do not promise more than we can deliver. Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something.

Think globally, act locally.
We are a regional business and it is also in our immediate vicinity where we can do the most to reduce strains on the environment. They include the selection of suppliers, doing business with regional producers to minimize transport emissions, sorting waste and rubbish, and not the least, to ensure that the right aircraft are operated on the right routes and in the best way - all to maximize reductions in emissions.
