Gothenburg City Airport

Säve airport, as it was formerly known, was built already in 1940 as a Military Wing.

Flight squadron was disbanded in 1969 and 1976 efforts to take over general aviation from Gothenburg's major airport-Landvetter began.

1984, the airport was adapted for heavier air, particularly extended the runway with 400 meters. Ryanair opened its first line to London in 2001.

Since then, Ryanair has continued to expand at the airport and now has regular tours to London,Frankfurt and Glasgow, among other destinations.
